The Commedia dell'arte is a form of Renaissance Italian theatre with a cast of stock characters, improvised dialogue, and much revelry: in short, the perfect art form to showcase the breadth and depth of Chesterton Academy's fine arts curriculum! In addition to the Chesterton Academy choirs, you will see a short skit, Renaissance dancing, sword fighters and character minglers (jugglers, ventriloquists, recorder players, etc.). Our improv team will make an appearance as well!
